BWCA’s Day of Action will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 10:00 AM - 6:15 PM ET at the CTA Town House on 21 D Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003. This event aims to prepare staffers and young professionals for job opportunities in incoming Democratic offices. RSVP HERE.

The Day of Action will combine general panels and conversations, role-specific panels and conversations, and a reception in order to provide insight into hiring processes and provide tips on moving up the career ladder.

You do not have to attend every panel to participate in the Day of Action. Please feel free to come and go as needed.

The schedule is as follows: 

• Breakfast & Check-in: 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM

• Welcome Panel: 10:45 AM - 11:30 AM

• Professional Skills Sessions: 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM

  • Career Shifts: This session will feature speakers/panelists/guests who can discuss moving between positions in the House and Senate and the public and private sectors. 

  • Resume Review: In this session, attendees will be paired up with selected resume reviewers to receive practical feedback on their resumes.

• Lunch: 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM

• Career Track Panels: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

  • Senior-level officials will discuss their career trajectories, best practices, and tips for navigating their specific roles.
